After a first Franco-German LEF encounter in 2015 in Paris, the 2016 meeting in Lisboa organized by the LEF and the Fondation des Femmes de l’Euro-Méditerranée is a great opportunity to pursue a partnership with Genre et Ville on Gender Equality in Public Space.

This gathering aims at identifying specific issues and develop research in the Euro-Mediterranean region.  Building strength through the articulation of common knowledge to develop better practices in City Planning vs Equality.

Morning session: Theoretical approach on Gender and Public Space

·         What is at stake?

·         Which actors should we work with?

·         How to change practices?

Afternoon session: Workshop

For this workshop, you are encouraged to gather as much material as possible from your contacts in your respective countries in order to enrich the debate on the two following points:

·         Specific issues encountered in the public space in your country

·         Best practices you have observed or heard of, and their effects on equality
